Wild Edge | Contemporary Art
“Wild Edge” captures the moors spilling into the sea with loose, unrestrained brushstrokes. Land and water meet in movement, edges dissolve, colours collide and nothing is held too tightly. My painting is instinctive and alive. Standing at this threshold gives a feeling of exhilaration, the thrill of exposure, of pressing forward where the ground ends and the tide begins. The horizon stretches endlessly, inviting you to lean into the wild, to feel your space that is unclaimed, unrestrained and utterly alive.
Your wildness refuses containment, you are allowed to stand at the edge and feel everything.
That feeling of something opening before you’ve decided what it means.
A space where land and water meet in movement, and the mind stops trying to hold everything still.
