Strange Phenomenon invites viewers into a dreamlike realm where reality gently blurs at the edges. This captivating mixed media artwork combines traditional techniques with experimental processes to create an otherworldly visual experience that lingers in the mind long after viewing.

Layers of translucent colour drift across the composition, creating ethereal landscapes where recognizable forms shift into abstract impressions. The piece plays with perception, revealing different elements depending on lighting and viewing angle—a visual conversation that evolves with each encounter.

My work explores the boundaries between the familiar and the unknown. With Strange Phenomenon, I wanted to create a visual experience that feels simultaneously grounded and untethered, like that curious moment between wakefulness and sleep where logic loosens its hold.

The mixed media approach reflects my interest in how different materials interact and transform one another. By combining traditional artistic elements with unconventional components, I aim to create something that feels slightly out of place yet somehow harmonious—much like those inexplicable moments we encounter in daily life that briefly make us question our understanding of reality.
