Tumultuous Moors i & ii – Contemporary Original Art

This diptych shows my feelings in paint.

This is how I feel when out in the wilderness with the wind on my face and bird sounds in the distance. 

These landscapes are declarations, not decorations.

I don’t plan my landscapes. They reveal themselves, wild and untamed.

My process begins with immersion in the landscape, walking, observing, and sketching to absorb the textures, rhythms, and expansiveness of the natural world. I’m less interested in literal representation and more in capturing the feeling of wildness and freedom that the land holds.
