It is about standing in the full truth of what you are, all of it, and finding that it was always more than enough. Hung in your home, it holds that truth in the room with you. Every single day.
Description
Enough As I Am – Contemporary Original Art
This painting stretches wide and low, a panoramic landscape that gives itself room to breathe across its full length. Rocky foreground ground, richly textured and alive with mark-making, gives way to a deep band of water in layers of teal, navy and blue-grey, and beyond it gentle hills rise under a luminous, open sky. The palette is unexpectedly vivid, acid yellows and fresh greens pushing through the darker tones, the whole surface holding both weight and light at once.
That coexistence is exactly what this painting is about. The dark and the luminous. The rough and the open. The grounded and the expansive. Nothing here has been smoothed away to make the composition easier, the rocks remain rocky, the layers remain complex, the marks remain visible. And the painting is more beautiful for it. Enough as I Am is a quiet but unambiguous statement, that wholeness is not about removing what feels difficult or unresolved. It is about standing in the full truth of what you are, all of it, and finding that it was always more than enough. Hung in your home, it holds that truth in the room with you. Every single day.
