As Far As The Eye Can See Print

Layers of teal, ochre and slate green pull across the surface like weather moving over open water: bands of colour scored, scraped back and built up again until the horizon dissolves into something more felt than seen.

Fine white lines score through the paint like distant rigging or wind on the surface of a tide, and a seam of soft green rises through the centre, solid ground held in a shifting expanse of sky and water.

This piece sits in that particular kind of looking, the one that happens on a headland or a wide estuary, when the eye keeps travelling and the mind goes quiet with it.
