Edge of Breathing Space Lampshade

Part of my Wide Horizons range, this lampshade is made from my original mixed media painting and carries the drama of the open coast into your home. Edge of Breathing Space was painted in that moment when the land opens out and the sky takes over, when you can finally exhale and feel the space around you as something generous rather than empty.

Deep indigo and teal waters meet a pale turquoise sky, while the shoreline below is alive with layered marks, spatters and unexpected flashes of lime and gold. It’s a painting full of movement and breath, and the shade shifts beautifully as light passes through it. Lit, the blues deepen and glow. Unlit, it holds its own as a bold piece of art in the room.

Each shade is handmade to order in the UK using a high quality reproduction of the original artwork, and is available in a range of sizes to suit ceiling pendants and lamp bases.
